Richard Tetrault

Raised on the West Coast of Canada, my work focuses on the dynamics of the contemporary landscape. I am interested in the narratives that are suggested through my personal encounters and the shifting nature of our environment.

I live in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, working in murals, drawing, painting, collage, and woodcut. Exhibitions and collections include public and private venues across Canada as well as internationally.

My woodcuts have been incorporated in books, magazines, posters, dance, and theatre productions. I am presently developing a series of large mixed-media prints based on my Red River Metis ancestry.
